The staff were great. The pool had a layer of grime around it. The rooms are not the cleanest I’ve seen. Dirt collecting in corners, the inside of garbages had garbage in them if you took out the bag.

The staff and the facilities were clean and newer. The morning breakfast has a good selection. However my room had not been cleaned properly. I saw 3 different pieces of sequence (maybe from a dance competition outfit) in the room on the carpet. The floor had not been vacuumed. Also there was a small piece of crumpled up wood on the office chair.

Well situated to where we needed to be and very clean and easy to navigate. Food for breakfast was good quality. If I had to be in the area again, I would definitely re-book.

Heat was set high. Was indicating 23.2 degrees in bdrm. Put A/C on. Auto set for 19.5 degrees. Seem I could not set it. Pillows not comfortable. Kept waking up, and looking for them.

Salmon Trip in Port Hope
Worth the visit to Port Hope to see the salmons swimming upstream and the Hampton Inn offers comfortable stay and great breakfast!
