Good location, but Port Townsend is small enough that almost anywhere would be a good location.
After checking in (room 114) we found the comforter on the top sheet was absolutely filthy, covered in lots and lots of dark hair and dirt. It almost seemed like the previous guests let their dog sleep on the bed and the sheets were never changed afterwards. We notified the front desk and got a "sorry about that."
The refrigerator froze all of our food, the bedside plug-ins (the ones built into the lamp) don't work, the cord on the hairdryer is hanging on by a thread, the bathroom door doesn't shut properly without some force, the tv remote is literally falling apart, there's no A/C and the rooms smelled, so the sliding door had to be left open for air. On our last night there the guests next door were smoking pot which wafted inside our room. Everything at the hotel is dated, looks worn out and in need of some serious TLC. There is nothing that justifies the nearly $200 per night. I could come to terms with $100, maybe.
