Unexpected gem. View from room into trees was beautiful. We loved the fire pit area with porch swings. Very convenient to Indiana Dunes NP. The room was spacious and comfortable.

No accommodations for seniors. No elevator for rooms on various levels. Lighting is very poor in hallways and in rooms. We had a fall in the stairwell with a mild injury, but it could have been much worse! Very little electronic access for commonly used devices, such as iPads, cell phones, etc. this is a beautiful setting and a nice theme, but is in need of some serious updating!! It does not live up to the benefits and description as presented in the advertisement online with Hotels.com

A lodge-type inn in a woodsy peaceful setting. Friendly, efficient reception. Large airy lobby with fireplace and lots of seating for breakfast or just sitting. Our room was spacious, with restful low light and a deck. Nice coin laundry for guests. Italian restaurant right next door.

Great stay. Clean room and quiet area. Loved the woods in the back. Also loved having the bar and restaurant next door. We stayed with our 8 month old daughter and room was plenty big for her pack and play.

We loved our stay at the Spring House Inn. It is an older hotel, but that is what we enjoyed. The rooms are large and comfortable. We loved the Inn setting in the woods. It was very relaxing and will definitely stay here again. Very convenient to the Dunes and Lake Michigan.

Inn has a nice antique style and the area is beautiful. The room had a spa tub in it that was excellent. Unfortunately a lot of flies were constantly coming into the room even with all of the doors shut (silverfish in the bathroom too). The gentleman working the front desk the first night sincerely apologized and did his best to accomodate us for this. However the staff member at checkout the following morning was completely rude and didn't believe me when I brought it up! I'm giving 3 stars and not 2 or 1 because we still enjoyed our stay and the gentleman at the counter the first night was really nice.

Staff was extremely pleasant and it was clean. But this property seriously needs updated. The door to our room didn't always close or latch. Wallpaper was falling off in the bathroom and the internet was really slow. .
