Weekend away

Very clean room, warm when we wanted it seeing it was cold out side

Hotel was better than we thought, mind you its a shame the pool wasn't heated, nobody could go in ,it was freezing, would have been nice to have had tea and coffee put in the rooms daily with the maid/cleaning service . Only two cups , even though it was three of us in the room

A great place to chill

My wife & I found the large majestic, recently refurbished, building appealing to the eye hugging closely to the golden sand beach & the inviting blue sea. The historic architecture of this classical hotel gave it a calm & cool environment, from which to get some time out from the sun of the gorgeous weather in addition to a good nights sleep. The general ambiance from the reception and other public areas, right through to the room, was befitting of a good 4 star hotel with a high standard of furnishing appropriately complementing the tranquil spaces. We made good use of our appealing balcony with a fabulous sea view. We found most of the staff to be friendly & attentive, willing to respond promptly to any issues brought to their attention. The reception staff were a good source of information to build day excursions & shopping trips. Finally we enjoyed the buffet style breakfasts and the occasional evening meals, especially the one complemented by an authentic Portugese folk trio on the Monday night.

Excellent Holiday Hotel

Oriental hotel

Almost everything in this hotel was excellent. The only negative thing was the breakfast in our opinion it was a very poor offering.

stay in MAY

The staff here are some of the best I have come across in any hotel we have ever stayed in. As it was early in the season the restaurant proper was not open ,only a buffet lunch or dinner available.The breakfast was great.

The breakfast with live piano music at the background every morning, sound of the waves with rising sun.... If that isn't the start for a perfect day, I don't know what is?😁

Bon hôtel, repas bons, service à table lent, trois places de parking seulement, belle vue mer et belle chambre spacieuse et seulement les adultes. A refaire.

Magnifique établissement avec un personnel disponible et très agréable. La piscine était impeccable avec suffisamment de transats. Le restaurant sert le soir un buffet avec des plats de haute qualité et le buffet du petit déjeuner est également très varié. L’accès à la plage est très agréable et le salon de massage très appréciable
