Lots of homeless people shouting at night can disturb light sleepers as well as the tram being noisy. My room was in need of renovation and well used but decently clean. Towels were on the small side. Perfect location for attending events at the convention center. Friendly and helpful staff. Good for the budget minded person who isn’t too picky. Not a huge room but not small.

I really liked the rate I was charged for lodging literally next to the venue I had business at. The staff were very friendly, helpful and courteous. I also really appreciated the bath mat that was provided in the bathroom. If I have business at this particular location again, I will definitely book another stay at "Inn At The Convention Center"

The staff were super friendly and helpful! They had plenty of recommendations for us when asked. We loved the location to the moda center and max station. Made it easy to get anywhere!

We checked in just after 5pm, night duty was on. He was unfriendly, doing the bare minimum at best; his job required. The woman Saturday am; was also working Sunday am at checkout. Her name was Tara and she was GREAT! Helpful, friendly, and a great overall employee. Saturday afternoon, we did spend hours with two Police SUV’s, 2 coroner vans, and one XL medical examiner truck; taking up most of the garage we paid for, picking up a hotel Guest that OD’ed and passed away Friday night in our hotel. Quite a site for our impressionable pre teen and twenty year old. Then; not Four hours after they carried him out in a sheet ( not even a black body bag - as they do where we are from- in WA) another man OD’d at the bottom of our driveway at the hotel- and about 12 of Portlands finest just stood around staring at him while he struggled to come to. On the upside, besides Tara being great- helpful teaching about the Max )the public Tram) the location could NOT have been better! We were there for an event Saturday night at the Moda Center- and literally booked another stay as soon as we got Home; for next January ( to See another show At Moda! Can’t beat the location location location! Not bringing the kids, next time Tho!

This room was barely motel 6 quality and charged mid room prices. Read the fine print they charged 17.99 for parking which brought the price up to be comparable to much nicer hotels in the area. Would not recommend this stay.

Staff was very friendly and check-in was fine. In the 3 days I was there I never received room service or new towels. I constantly had to go to the front desk for fresh towels. The room was very grungy and beat-up. There were visible drywall patches unfinished in the room. I also found pornographic magazines under the mattress when checking for bedbugs. No bedbugs found fortunately. lol. My room sounded like Grand Central Station because the hotel is so close to the City Train stops. This is not the hotel's fault obviously but something to be aware of if noise is an issue for you during your stay.
