The room style was old fashion motel and small. However, it was very clean and well kept. What amazed me was how quiet it was. I slept well and that was so important.

Staff was very friendly. Only downside was the room wasnt very clean. Found a dead roach the first day and the neighbors were loud and fought all night one day. Aside from that it was a pleasant experience. The neighborhood is relatively quiet and safe.

The location was great. The neighborhood around this property seemed safe. The rooms are very out dated. The wals and ceiling is VERY thin. We could hear every conversation and every bag of snacks open. Due to this, we did not get much sleep.

I’ve been staying here for over 5 years on my Alaska journeys the rooms are dated and the water pressure is hit and miss. Most rooms have never been upgraded and the appliances are worn out and noisy. I hope they pay attention to the reviews as this is a gem in PDX

OK for a quick sleep
When you book a double bed room they send you across the street. This building was clearly a motel that has been given a little “updating” (has “wood” floors). The bathroom is outdated and was dirty when we arrived. There was hair and black sludge clinging to the tile. I don’t think the ventilation works very well either, when we opened the door we were hit with a very humid breeze from the room. We noticed that when we showered the entire room got warm and humid even with the vent going. We decided to open the door to outside to allow for the humidity to escape. There was a lot a lot of stains around the room except for the bed sheets which was good. The bed itself was very uncomfortable and hard but the pillows were great! The toiletries offered were eco friendly which I thought was nice. It seems there is limited spaces for parking so be mindful of that.

Great for an extended stay in-town
I'm not sure if maybe I got a special deal, but for a very economical price, they put me up in a little suite with a queen bed sequestered in a little bedroom, a very functuional kitcenette (refridgerator, Keurig, hot water maker, toaster, microwave and two burner stove), and a living room. There was a TV in both the bedroom and living room. The location is fabulous for access to NW and downtown, as well as the Rose Garden. Will definitely stay here again.

The room had dirt in the corners. The dishwasher soap container was taped on with black electrical tape. The kitchen faucet was loose and fell off. The bathroom shower faucet mixing valve was off as the faucet was turned to cold and very hot water came out.
