Came to see Wicked at Keller Auditorium, walked the 2 blocks, felt safe in area doing so! Location, Room's, Game area and Restaurant, Zags is a great place to stay for a night or week!

Check-in: very inconvenient. Three transactions from my bank account with total staying fees. I had to call the bank to cancel extra payments, and I was about to cancel my debit card! The reception staff was very stressed, but her colleague did not help. She ended up breaking down. I was asked for $200 in incidentals and 30 dollars daily for breakfast and internet. etc! When I booked, it said that amenities would be free (included). When I asked, they told me that Expedia changed the language to attract people to book through them! I had to call Expedia to help out. Staff: Other than the strange check-in experience, the staff were cool and helpful. Cleanliness: The room was not clean when I arrived. Spots on the carpet and a big spill on the curtain. Very dusty and hair is everywhere. But when I asked for the room to be cleaned, it was perfectly cleaned. Amenities and breakfast: There is a gym that is very close to the hotel which is included in the amenities. Breakfast is simple: bagels, muffins, boiled eggs, cereals, and fruits. I did not try the parking. Property: nice rooms and very walkable to almost everything around. Very close to public transportation and restaurants around. In summary, excellent location, and a nice property, but transparency and customer service need to be improved.

I didn’t like the fact that my stay was very noisy. I could hear the room above me throughout my whole stay walking loudly and running in their room all hours of the night. Also I didn’t like the fact that their complimentary water bottle in the fridge tasted like dirty sink water. I drank it and it made me sick and threw up. Also the bed sheets were super itchy that was on my bed unsure why but very uncomfortable to sleep in.

The hotel itself was very beautiful. If you have sensitivity to fragrance then avoid this hotel. We had a suite and the moment we walked into it we were hit with such a strong cleaner smell so we opened both little tiny windows but never once did the smell dissipate. I felt on the verge of having an asthma attack the whole night and for the price a room should never smell that strong. The hallways didn’t smell like that at all but the room was so overpowering that it ruined our whole experience. I was nervous to bring it up to the front desk though because the lady who checked us in didn’t seem too excited about explaining the hotel or anything to us.
