The hotel was very neat and clean with very friendly staff. Property was about a 10 minute walk to where some bars and restaurabts were. Room was clean as well. Stayed with a friend, so wish there was more of a bigger private space to change clothes before and after showers. Otherwise everything was great.

The Fontinha Porto Hotel is a very nice and relatively small boutique hotel. The rooms are fine and very clean. It is a new hotel, so everything is sparkling new. The morning breakfast was very good. The staff is super nice and always very attentive, getting us taxis whenever we needed them, including a super early one upon our departure from Porto. We ate dinner at the hotel twice (as we were in Porto for 4 days) and, although the selections are limited, the soups, salads, and pizzas were truly delicious. The hotel has a nice terrace areas which are private and lovely. Although there is not much around the hotel, it is a safe area, and the taxi rides to downtown Porto (for example, the Ribiera area) were very inexpensive (compared to US and UK prices) and just a short 10-15 minute ride. There are plenty of sites to see in Porto and in the surrounding areas - the Douro Valley, Aveiro and the Costa Nova, as well as the historic towns of Braga and Guimareas. Make sure to have at least one lunch or dinner at the Time Out Market restaurant area, located right behind the Sao Bento Train Station. (It is open until midnight each night, so besides having two lunches there, we even had a dinner there.) Porto is a lovely town, so enjoy your time there and relax during your stay at the Fontinha Porto boutique hotel.

Excellent welcoming staff. Very helpful and made us feel excellent for both our birthdays.Room, bathroom and shower were top notch. We walked downtown on some occasions and took Ubers or bolts on others. Would not hesitate to stay or recommend the hotel to our friends.

Pretty property, rooms were lovely. Staff was so helpful and always talkative!! With that said, terrace in the back was much smaller than advertised and no one was there to serve. Restaurant and bar (if that is considered a bar?) were very tiny as well. Would have loved more f&b options!

I love this hotel. The staff. The rooms. This is one of the nicest boutique hotels I have stayed at. The location is perfect to restaurants and cafes. The rooms are absolutely gorgeous and extremely clean. I would stay here over and over again.

A great place with excellent staff who spoke great English. They were incredibly helpful, assisting us in arranging a day tour of the Douro Valley for wine tasting. The room was nice, cozy, and comfortable with great lighting, and there was a large TV with an ample selection of channels. The shower and bathroom were also very nice. Additionally, the breakfast was good, providing a satisfying start to our day.
