Beautiful Interior Decor of the communal spaces and the hotel room. The staff was really friendly and helpful recommending places to have dinner and/or a drink. Loved the proximity of all the near by bars and restaurants to the hotel. Wished would have stay longer. Definitely recommend others to stay at the Hotel Portsmouth.

Comfortable Hotel
A very pleasant hotel within walking distance of Downtown Portsmouth. Staff were all lovely. There's a nice lounge in the lobby with free coffee and snacks. Room was clean, modern and- like the whole property- very well designed. Good shower pressure and plenty of toiletries and towels provided. Only thing i'd have liked is a desk/ sitting area.

The whole experience was wonderful. Amanda greeted us the first evening and was an absolute rockstar. The hotel is beautifully decorated, is so comfortable and the location is fantastic for all there is to do in Portsmouth. Really wonderful experience!!

Unique small hotel in downtown Portsmouth
Interesting hotel built from an old house. Easy walking access to the main part of downtown. Free parking behind the hotel. Love the quirky decor and unique rooms. Many public spaces and an elevator which makes it much easier to access your room if it’s on an upper floor. Nice breakfast in the breakfast area.

Charming and beautiful. Every detail about this historic hotel is thought out. Unique wallpaper and decorations follow from room to room. Friendly and helpful staff. The breakfast was excellent. Many options, including great gluten free options for my daughter with celiac.
