I usually don’t leave reviews on hotels but I feel that this particular hotel needs to be reviewed simply because we were so disappointed with our ten day stay in a the Klarinn Hotel that is obviously nothing more than a “Cash Cow” for the owner, and nothing more than that.
Prior to our arrival I had great communication with the hotel. They arranged for us to be picked up at the airport, and even said that we could leave our bags in their office because we would arrive prior to the check-in time of 2pm. And even though the front desk didn’t open until 10am, the young woman, that was working the day of our arrival, opened the hotel early, just for us, because she knew that we would arrive before they opened. She even told us that she would try to have our room cleaned and ready prior to the normal 2pm check-in time and would message us when the room was prepared. And by 11:30am our room was ready.
At first sight, our room looked nice. It was old; which is what we wanted, and it seemed to be clean. There were towels and soap in the bathroom. The bed was covered with two duvet covers and two pillows. There were two attractive old-world chairs with a matching table, an armoire and a beautiful old display case. There was even an in-wall safe. But things would change when arrived back to the room that evening.
The bathroom had no shower, just a bathtub with a handheld showerhead, which was no problem. We just thought it would have been nicer if there was a curtain to help cont
