I really liked this hotel except our room was not quiet. We were on the second (3rd for USA) floor and our window was on the street side. You could hear all the cars passing and people talking down below. It was very noisy.

The two best things: The Staff and the breakfast! Everyone we dealt with at the hotel was extremely nice and helpful. The breakfast was a fabulous buffet with an unbelievable assortment of things to choose from. Our only complaint was that, even with the heat off, our room got hot (at the end of November!). We were able, however, to open the door and get fresh air in. Other than that, the room and bathroom were both clean and well appointed. We had a great stay!

A nice place near everything. It right in the middle of bus and tram lines. Lots of restaurants nearby, all within walking distance. If you’re adventurists you can walk to the train station. The only negative was I had a small room on the fourth floor with exposed wooden beams. They are low enough to hit your head, you will only do it once. A shout out to the bar staff, they were great.

The staff at this hotel were incredibly rude and unprofessional. During check-in, I was unexpectedly charged an additional fee for some commission, which I found unreasonable. I kept the receipt and filed a complaint about this. At checkout, they knocked on my door right at 11:00 AM and insisted I leave immediately, refusing to allow even an extra minute. When I went to settle my room service bill, the staff’s attitude was intimidating, as if daring me to not pay. I’ve stayed at many hotels and accommodations, but I’ve never encountered such impolite and discourteous behavior from the staff. I wouldn’t stay here again.

I loved the fact that since I had stayed in the hotel in the past, they recognised a returning guest and upgraded my room to the top floor suit for no extra charge. Great view, very polite and professional staff. Great value for money (even without the upgrade), great and quiet location, walkable distance from the main square.

Rooms were nice and clean. Lobby and hotel employees were great. The lobby was very "overstimulating". It was constantly full of tourists and tour groups bustling around and very noisy. Location is in a little dingier part of Nove Mesto but safe. Breakfast was great with only one complaint: American tourists! I'm an American and I'm embarrassed. The breakfast area was filled with retired American's that were acting like kids at the first buffet they saw! Racing to get plates and acting like they were at an all you can eat crab buffet. American's visiting Europe, please calm down and eat a civilized breakfast. I'm surprised we were not out there in pajamas and bare feet.
