The decor was fitting to the name of the hotel. Three pieces of classic style matching artwork was a nice addition to the decor (most of the European hotels we’ve stayed in over the last month having nothing on the walls!) Great view of the river.
Large bathroom with a very handy stool! Happy to find a mini fridge (apparently a very rare find in Europe so far). Nice to have water and a couple of beverages supplied. Luggage rack and counter space were appreciated. Very nice thick towels.
Comfy bed but they haven’t switched to the think duvet that most European hotels we have stayed at have done but instead still use a top sheet and light coverlet. The thick duvets are so cozy.
Room was very clean except for the floor. Picked up a lot of debris on our bare feet.
I would recommend this hotel. It’s only a 10 minute walk to some restaurants and about that from the train station. However, the latter walk is not fun with roller bags as the condition of the sidewalks is terrible.
