Excellent hospitality, exceptional breakfasts
Booked for three nights, stayed for five. Quiet, close to town, very hospitable. The owners went out of their way to look after us. We cannot speak more highly of their welcoming attitude throughout our stay. Breakfast was 5 star, including home made bread, jams and cakes. Bed was super-comfortable and the room had everything that we needed. Highly recommend this place

Free breakfast was varied, complete, and served with a smile. A great way to begin the day. Town was touristy but convenient. Tours were great. We would definitely recommend this facility.

Cozy old place
Very cozy place with a good, filling breakfast. Friendly and helpful staff. Not too far from downtown; there's a walkway going through the train station 5 minutes walk to downtown. It's a converted rambling old house so you should be OK with floors that creak, and to be honest the soundproofing is terrible but we liked everything else about the place. Lots of big, comfortable living spaces besides just your room, with good places to sit and read or use your computer.

Small hostal close to the centre of Puerto Varas
I stayed at Hostal Chancerel for five days while travelling in Chile and it was a great experience in many ways. It is a short walk to the centre of town and located on a quiet street. The family who run the hostal gave me useful advice about travel plans and places to visit - and they can also arrange transfers to the airport and bus terminal. I enjoyed many conversations with them, which made a great change since I was travelling alone.

Hotel muito aconchegante.
O hotel é ótimo para descansar dos passeios feitos ao longo do dia. Única dificuldade foi regular a temperatura do chuveiro e a área do box ser pequena. Toalhas novas maravilhosas, alvíssimas. Hotel muito aconchegante, familiar, dirigido por uma família super simpática. Excelente café-da-manhã (desjejum). Ótimas sugestões de passeio! Bem localizado, mas ao mesmo tempo em lugar calmo, silencioso.

O atendimento é muito bom, pessoal muito gentil. Café da manhã bom, para um hostal. Quarto bem amplo, mas com odor de ambiente fechado e a janela não abre. O quarto que estivemos, 2, tem problema de isolamento sonoro, consegue-se ouvir a TV do quarto vizinho.
