We’ve stayed here in the past. This time around we noticed some changes. We were disappointed that they no longer offer complimentary coffee in the morning. As well it was difficult to find seating at the pool area as people were taking towels and reserving chairs. You had to get to the pool area early before it filled up or you would not find a chair to lounge in. Staff were attentive r and friendly.

The room was spacious and clean. We enjoyed the rooftop bar and pool, especially at sunset. The walk to the beach isn’t too bad, but since you have to go through the other resort, there aren’t areas where you can sit and order food as they belong to the surrounding all-inclusive resorts (unless you pay a day fee). The hotel as a whole is great and we’d stay there again.

The hotel was overall pretty good. Nice pool, attentive staff, and clean. Good location that is walking distance to mall, restaurants, and coffee shops. Unfortunately the noise level was so bad that I rarely could sleep. Our room was over looking the entrance to the resort and off a fairly large street. I could hear constant car noise, talking, screaming, and music throughout my stay. There really should be a better sound proofing doors to the balcony. I also was extremely put off that a $0 check was presented at the breakfast buffet upgrade we paid for. We had been tipping everyday that we were there but yet on the 4th day a check was presented? Pretty nervy.

We loved this hotel. Their staff are outstanding and we loved the roof top pool. Everyone was so friendly and went out of their way to make our stay amazing. We had breakfast included and it was a great buffet option everyday. A few small things that were disappointing- the self-serve espresso machine was out of commission the last two days of our stay and the pool needed a little more attention - cleaned more often and broken tiles. Otherwise we loved the afternoon and evening dj’s, kid-free property, and amazing service.

Loved the roof top bar, although the drink prices were a bit expensive if you were to drink all day(we found that 3 or 4 pina coladas or bloody ceasars was quite enough for the evening) the small menu was SUPER YUMMY! , the service and staff were absolutely amazing throughout the hotel, right from check in to check out, the experience was 5 stars👏 the morning buffet was beautifully presented and absolutely great for the cost per person, not to mention you could order basically what you wished if you got the breakfast package. Mio is a gorgeous and clean well maintained hotel, will recommend to everyone we know and we WILL be back. The only drawback is i did make a personal request during booking that did seem to go unnoticed and unfulfilled, requested was a romantic evening in room for our anniversary/ my birthday(which i was more than willing to pay extra for).... HOWEVER we did find our own romantic dinner/ drinks down the road.. would have been absolutely 💯 perfect if there had been at least a bottle of cheap champagne or flower petals or something... but all in all was truly the most beautiful vacation.. thanks to all at Mio...

Nice hotel. Pool deck on the roof was very nice except for the Blaring Techno Rock. Way way way too loud. Staff were very nice and the hotel has a marvelous breakfast.

Couple issues about this hotel was the Terrible music DJ , I requested Spanish and denied playing, I feel like Mexican or any Latin person is less welcome , English music the all time. They refused add my breakfast for the $4 extra in expedida and make me pay at the property 5 times more equal $400 MXN . Not recommended
