Marguerita bar staff was the best! yocica, yo Juan, Carlos♥️ maid service needs a bit of re-training. They took our dirty towels and left no clean ones. The wait for water and beer at the buffet was scattered. People were so wonderful but some organization of who does what would be helpful. A lot of worker just walking around with no result. Otherwise a beautiful place: beautiful people

The grounds are beautiful. Most staff were helpful and friendly. We had a privileged level room and it was pretty average. Not as nice as lower price point rooms in other resorts, but it was ok for the week. Food was not the best I’ve had at an AI resort. The front desk staff are absolutely the worst. The answer to every question or problem we had was “come back in 20 minutes.” Then they would all hide in the back room or pace back and forth trying to look busy. They were not. If you can forget about or look past the lack of service and rudeness from the front desk, it’s not a bad resort.

The air conditioning in room 1001 does not work at all. Plus it smells so bad they hung air fresheners everywhere. It took half the day for us to change rooms but they didnt have the room we paid for. We ended up with a smaller room for one night. The resort gave us a $75 credit for that. The whole process completely ruined our first day. I will say Crystal at guest services was our saving grace. She went above and beyond from that point to make sure we were ok.

Customer service is poor, slow and non-accommodating. Set us up in 3 different blocks, and when we requested to be in the same block, they accommodated us after an hour plus of conversation and being passed around from one person to the next. One of the rooms had no AC. When they fixed it (hours later) shower ceiling leaked profusely from the light fixtures! It took almost a whole day to get that semi resolved. All with 2 toddlers, etc. They charged us double an amount quoted on the phone, based on "the rates changed from the past 3 weeks when you called"...

We spent eight nights at the resort in late December/early January of 2025 and were amazed by its beauty. The beach is very, very nice, the flora and fauna are amazing, the staff super friendly, and the overall experience perfect for families with children (ours are 18, 16 and 10). We went scuba diving one morning and loved it. The food is good, and there are many options to choose from. We were very impressed by the New Year's Eve party - excellent buffet. Among the restaurants we liked the Japanese one and the Steak House. The Italian and Spanish restaurants were not as good. We really enjoyed our breakfasts in the beach restaurant, and our kids devoured tons of crepes in the course of the week. It's not a 5-star hotel but everything together let us have a 5-star week as a family!

This property is insanely gorgeous!! Whoever is giving this property bad reviews honestly has no idea how to relax. Were these some issues with the room? Sure. It’s a huge resort I wouldn’t except there not to be. My bathroom door couldn’t close and we didn’t get water bottles daily before asking. But again this place is massive. There’s also sooo much to do!! The ocean has this great sand bank you can walk to which felt like surreal and there’s constant games by the pool. The staff is so friendly and sweet!! Food was ok but again it’s a resort so loosen up and enjoy what it is lol. It was also displayed STUNNINGLY, like I never was disappointed. It was an amazing stay and I couldn’t wait to write a review. Please ignore bad reviews on here! My bf and I went for new years and can’t get over what a wonderful time it was.

Pros: Lots of food options. If you don't like something, then you must be a VERY picky eater. Staff is very friendly. There are plenty of beach chairs available, even during a busy season. Close to the airport. Cons: There's many people trying to sell you stuff on the beach. I'm not sure if the hotel can do anything about it. The pool area is very slippery. I saw more than one person fall, no major injuries, but it's a safety hazard.

We experienced a serious security breach during our stay in the resort. Upon returning to our room on the last day, we discovered an unauthorized person inside. This breach of security is deeply unsettling, especially as we were checking out that day. We also learned that two other rooms experienced similar breaches within the same week, which were not acknowledged by the staff. Although we were offered a future upgrade, this is not useful to us, as we will not be returning within the next 12 months. We requested a refund for one night's stay as compensation, but this was declined.

Terrible Experience – Avoid at All Costs I had an absolutely horrible experience at this place and would not recommend it to anyone. The food was inedible—so bad that I wouldn't even feed it to my dogs. Management was completely unhelpful and unavailable. Anytime I asked to speak with a manager, I was told they were either in a meeting or simply not available. The situation became even worse on New Year's night when I had to take a cab to a restaurant in an unfamiliar area at 9:30 PM just so my kids could have a meal. We were stuck there for a week because we had no other options, but we ended up checking out a day early when Delta was able to fly us out. Please take my advice and avoid this place to save yourself the frustration and disappointment. BOOKED THROUGH EXPEDIA FROM DECEMBER 26th- JANUARY 2nd 2025

We had the best vacation ever! A lot food, a lot food options, I loved each party they did for Christmas and we year celebration, plus Santa brought gifts to our Doughter! The best place to stay in punta cana so far. We travel around the world and this is the first hotel who gave us the real reason to come back again
