Considering this was my partner and I’s first time travelling alone, we had an amazing time. The staff was very friendly and patient, they answered all the questions we had. The area was really nice and everything was within a good walking distance. Our room was very clean, our cleaner was exceptional. Room service was great, we tried out a couple of the restaurants which were well dinning experiences. We checked out the buffets which was pretty decent if you’re feeling peckish, as there are a wide variety of different options. This one bartender really loved us so it was nice seeing her, and the bartenders in general just had good energy. The beach was nice, just watch out for the venders! Our experience went well and we would definitely vacation there again!

I was concerned after booking and reading reviews however I now believe reviews reflected the adjoining resort we can go to with Bavaro Royal wrist band, that resort is family oriented and so lots of chaos! Bavaro Royal is piano bar and jazz live music in evenings and casual upscale bars, top shelf liquors included!! Beach is kept immaculate and you can walk safely for miles. Great food! I’ve been three times now and consistently enjoy experience

The resort was very good, our room was just ok, the tv was now working, we could not shut it off, we had to unplug it to sleet. I also asked to have them send me a large cup of orange juice, but they refused to send it to me? It was ok.

Came for holidays. Probably was the worse time to pick our vacation, but this was only time available to took time off from work. Paid double because of holidays season. Never felt treated and felt more miserable. The food was awful and never enough. If you are not able to make to buffet within 10 first minutes of it opening, there won’t be any food left. Either breakfast, lunch or dinner never have enough food. Was surprised not seeing scrambled eggs for breakfast (I thought is a staple for resorts). The only eggs were available are hard boiled. The service is nothing better than their food. The room we got was falling apart. Half of the lights in our room didn’t work. Refrigerator/mini bar was empty for first two days of our arrival. On third day they put some cans and water, but apparently this thing was broken, so no cold beverages for us. On the Christmas Eve we can’t get dinner anywhere, because we supposed to make the reservation the way ahead, and when we tried to make it, it was no spot available. So no dinner for us. The list of our misadventures can go on and on. I just can’t understand all those positive reviews i was reading before I picked this resort for us. Will not recomend this place to anyone.

Food and staff were amazing. Pools were great, not too crowded. Lots of activities. Only thing we didn’t love was the beach had a lot of seaweed and was windy and rocky. Didn’t change the fact we had an amazing time all week. Would go back
