This hotel is very well located to old Quebec top destinations. The building is historic and right next to Château Frontenac. The staff is friendly. The coffee is excellent. The room was very cozy.

Where to start? My husband and I love this property! It is our first choice for a place to stay every time that we come to Quebec City. It is so conveniently located... on the beautiful St. Lawrence River between the Chateau Frontenac and the US Consulate, positioned halfway between the top of the Haute Ville and the bottom of the Basse Ville. This makes it a very walkable location for seeing the Old City, which is great, because parking is almost non-existent. The ambiance of the hotel reminds us of our favorite small hotels of Paris. Nothing glitzy, but lovely and functional, and exceptional value for the price. The self-serve Continental breakfast is good value, and since it isn't included in the price of the room, you can choose every morning between the convenience of a quick bite at the hotel or a splurge on a fancy breakfast somewhere else in town. The 24-hour coffee bar is also very nice to have available. The lobby area with fireplace is stocked with books and games... and a reasonably-priced wine bar! The fully bilingual staff is courteous, knowledgeable, and helpful. You can book a massage on the premises (I didn't have time, so can't comment), and despite the historic building, a helpful elevator has been retrofitted (there are four levels in the building). There is limited car parking; if you need to park a car, you need to request it well in advance. Parking is only available via valet service, and they're usually very quick. There is an extra charge.

The photos are misleading. There is no pool on site, it is a 15min walk away at their sister hotel. When we arrived we were advised that due to construction/renovations there was no valet parking and we were to park nearby for $55/night. This was after I waiting 10min for check in while the staff was on a zoom call in the next room. When we retrieved our vehicle the next morning the staff member was very harassing to my husband about parking in front while we retrieved our luggage from the room. There was also a sign that stated something along the lines of « relax while we take care of your luggage and vehicle » which was not the case. The breakfast was ok, and convenient for the price of the night. The coffee machine was nice. It was ok for a night passing through to our next stop. But I would stay elsewhere if we were planning to visit longer than one night.

The owner is very accommodating and kind. He let me check in 3 hours earlier than scheduled. My only complain was that I think during my stay there was also some renovation going on so it was noisy in the morning. Other than that it was a pleasant stay. Thanks

The hotel is perfectly situated next to chateau frotenac, a short walk to the plaines of abraham and a park directly in front. It is was so convenient to walk everywhere. The staff was very nice and welcoming. The room was small but clean. Would stay there again on our next visit to QC.

We had an amazing stay! The staff went above and beyond for us which we greatly appreciated when we had car troubles and provided fabulous recommendations! The location is perfect to walk to all the sites, shops, and restaurants. Room was very clean and quiet. We will definitely stay again!!!

Terrific place to stay in Old Quebec. The staff was very welcoming and friendly. We were upgraded to a suite, which had a separate sitting room large bedroom and adequate bathroom. The wine in the "enomatic" machine worked well at night and allowed us to get wine anytime. Coffee, tea, and juices available 24/7 as well. We had one glitch with one of the two televisions we had, but the fix was simple and could easily be fixed for the next with with a simple nite that the remote turns the television on but not off. One has to get up and touch the button on the lower right of the TV. It's hard to see so don't try to find it with the lights out.
