We stayed in a similar room in Auckland, and expected similar or better services. 1. The attached restaurant accepts non hotel guest. Those guest are directed to restrooms across from our hotel room. 2. There’s no safe in the room to secure personal items. 3. No way to cast streaming (Netflix) to the tv. 4. There are NO drawers to place clothing. We emptied the utility drawer to have at least one. 5. There’s no ice machine available.

We loved our stay at the Ramada. The two bedroom apartment was fantastic with a lounge between bedrooms, both with their own bathrooms. It was spacious and very clean and modern. Easy walking into town centre and good parking. I will definitely stay again and recommend to everyone. If you get the lake view 2 bedroom the view is outstanding.

Convenient location, friendly staff
Friendly staff, very welcoming when we first arrived. Paid for upgrade to studio apartment which had kitchenette and laundry facilities, very functional for six night stay. Convenient location, 5 minute walk into town and close to bus stops for public transport. This was our 2nd stay at the hotel and would definitely stay again.

The staff were lovely and the location was great. The room was cleaned everyday. However the bed was not very comfortable. It was two singles joined and the mattress join was very uncomfortable to sleep on. There also was a constant banging noise that the staff couldn’t locate so the remedy was earplugs. The noise made being in the hotel tense, stressful and instantly uncomfortable. Not the way you want to feel when on holiday.

Great hotel! Convenient location, safe, quiet. The front desk staff is very nice, especially Marina (I think that’s her name, she checked us in at night). The kitchenette and in-unit washer and dryer were fantastic! Would recommend to anyone!
