The staff were all very friendly and helpful. My only issue was with the room itself. When we walked in, the air was very stale. It felt damp and had a strange smell to it. It was very humid in the room and did not feel super clean. There was no fan in the bathroom and you could tell that it's been so humid for so long that the walls and floors are peeling and warping because they are absorbing that moisture.

Not what we expected
Staff were wonderful. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. The lobby and breakfast area were clean and looked nice but our room was not. The walls had stains all over them, the floors left our socks ruined, the bathtub looked like it hadn't been cleaned ever, and the bed mattress was very uncomfortable. We chose this hotel based on the great reviews we read but we were let down.

Wish I could have used the shower.
My day was just acceptable. I, really hope that you value and pay Christine accordingly because she is running around taking care of everything. With a smile! My tv would not work upon arrival and Christine came to the room and got it working. Upon my departure, the shower was cold with no hot water after leaving it running for a while. The water in the sink (outside the bathroom) was scolding hot. It was no fun starting my next trip without a hot shower.

Everything looked worn: The hall rugs were balding and torn at seams, bedside lampshade had dirt spots, the first room we were given smelled musty because the air conditioner was not working, the exercise room was closed for maintenance. Good thing was staff at front desk.

The front desk staff was amazing. Very helpful and friendly. Would've given 5 stars but was discouraged because there was both a big roach AND a spider in the bathroom all at the same time that night. Also there are quite a few cobwebs on ceiling of the room. Other than that, it was good for a 1 night stay.
