Try your hand at surfing and head out for excursions in the surrounding area. Visit the coastal towns, such as Porto Empedocle or immerse yourself in the history of the region and visit the ruins of the ancient city of Akragas and the Valley of the Temples, a huge archaeological site with well-preserved Greek temples.
