Pretty Hotel for short visits to Olinda
Pros:The hotel was quiet and the staff very friendly.
Cons:Make sure that flies cannot reach the food at breakfast, e.g. by covering it (especially the fruit). Take care that the bed is clean.
Location:The hotel lies in a quiet neighborhood with a few shops and restaurants nearby. Getting to the next beach and to Olinda takes some walking but is ok.
The hotel is close to the sea, however, there is no beach close by. The first beach where one can get parasols is in about 15 min. walking distance. There are plenty of locals at this beach, who enjoy playing soccer and listening to music. Just relaxing there would probably be hard. However, the hotel has a small pool where this would be possible. When we first entered the room, the bedsheets and -linen were not cleaned properly. After complaining, it was changed immediately. Everything else was clean and the room convenient. The breakfast had all you need, however, there were a few flies coming in from outside. The city center of Olinda can be reached within 30 min of walking or 5 min by Uber. Just one lady at the reception spoke English, the others only Portuguese. Google Translate is useful for this hotel.
