If you're looking for a unique property with a unique proprietor, this is it! We had a fun stay. The property itself is perhaps a third the way through a much needed renaissance.

This place is so fun! So original and different from the chain hotels. The owner goes above and beyond to make sure you are comfortable and have everything you need. The hotel is very old but that is the charm! I would recommend this place to anyone that likes something different! Staying at this place is more than just a place to stay, it’s an experience!

We loved staying at the Red Rock Inn. The owner and his staff were so friendly and helpful. All the quirky decor and a great continental breakfast was so nice. It was very quiet and the bed was very comfortable. After a long day driving we slept like babies! Thank you Don and your sweet staff!

Staying at the Red Rock Inn was a truly memorable experience, if not for the historic and pop culture memorabilia, for the Inn's proprietor, Don, who's happy to share his stories about the place and local history. The variety of homemade banana bread was a nice touch!

Vintage Charm
This beautiful old hotel is like walking back in time. There is such history at this place. Don is very friendly and shares all kinds of information about the hotel and its origin. This is not a hotel with stark, shiny, up to date decor, it' vintage 1940's, but the rooms are very comfortble, the bathroom is updated and modern. It's definitely worth a stop if you're looking for something unusual and timeless.

A Bit Quirky
An older hotel - a bit quirky. The AC in the room was not working so two fans were in the room. We had to open the windows to get some cool air. The cleanliness was not up to current standards you might expect today. Bathroom ceiling fan, light fixtures & floor around the baseboards were dirty. Landscaping was overgrown & not maintained.

This is a unique historic property that is a different and engaging experience compared to most inns. Our room had a quite nice queen bed and updated modern bath. The continental breakfast had homemade breads available that were really tasty. While this 1937 property shows its vintage, some will find this interesting and charming while others may not appreciate the atmosphere. We wondered at first if we would like this place. We ended up finding it fun and charming and would stay again. We certainly won't forget Red Rock Inn.

It was wonderful to actually be in Red Rock again. Staying at the Red Rock Inn was nostalgic and filled my cup with the beauty of this area. Having Lake Superior as my view was breathtaking. I felt very at home at the Inn. Thank you Don.

The Red Rock Inn is an iconic and eclectic property. It is a historic building that looks out over Nipigon Bay. Don at the Red Rock is a great host. There are walking trails along the harbour, and hiking trails on the rock ridges above town, if you're a trail walker that likes challenging slopes that lead to great Lake Superior views.

Was Once a Great Place to Stay
The room was very small with no AC. The wifi signal was very weak as well. The place was once a great place, but has certainly seen better days. The very much older gentleman that met us at the door was very gracious and informative. Very likable - showed us the room, etc.
