At least get the name correct.
This property is now Quality Inn, no longer Asteria. The employees really need training, the breakfast was disappointing, the property needs a face lift. It was not awful, it was just kind of disappointing. I would grade it a C minus at best.
Non smoking room smelled like everyone had been smoking in it. Amount charged was not the amount quoted. Too tired to fight the battle. Would not stay there again!

staff were most accommodating
It was a last minute decision to stay in the area. We had stayed here in the past. It is again under remodel construction, which didn't bother us too much, we wanted a bed for the night. Our reservation was for a king size bed, but they told us they didn't have any available, at which time we agreed to take a double/double if it were on the 1st floor. The staff was able to get us in on the first floor. This motel has never been a 5 star, but the staff come close

Review
There is rarely anyone at the front desk, and you have to call them to get a hold of them. And when I tried to use the room telephone, it didn't even work. They alternate days on cleaning rooms, and although I requested some minor items to be cleaned in my room, it wasn't done.

Hallway was very hot. Screen in room window was torn out. Room was clean and comfortable.
Our stay was just fine. They seem to be in the middle of a remodel, but it didn't have any affect on our room. Room was clean and updated nicely.

I had a problem checking in. I made the reservation through Hotels.com and the front desk clerk told me the code provided for payment did not work. I used my credit card to charge the room, was double charged, and am having a hard time getting the overcharge refunded and resolving the matter. I contacted the hotel directly without resolution, and contacted it again through hotels.com and was told the manager was not available. I'm getting the run around, and this has completely overshadowed any positive experiences I had with the hotel.

Potential unrealized
No one was ever at the front desk - they were playing in the pool until all hours. They need to NOT advertise free breakfast - it was the worst excuse for a breakfast I have ever seen - and I travel A LOT!
Nice hotel and friendly staff. They need to clean the beverage dispenser for the breakfast, The nozzles should be cleaned daily a fruit fly came out of the OJ.

Well liked this hotel because it took pets & was only 5-mins. from where we had to go.
Worse hotel we ever stayed at.No one at front desk to greet us and she was dressed very inappropriately.She also was absent when we checked out.We also he to pay up front which is unheard of but can see why as you wouldn't want to pay later. Breakfast was a laugh. Bags of bread and bags of bagels in which anyone with grubby hands could get in.Juice hade gnats in it.Hall carpets were filthy and stained with worn out areas. Handicapped bathroom was well equipped.
