Housekeeping needs to improve standards.
Good service by front desk staff but housekeeping needs some work. When I got to my room there was toilet paper and crusty tissues next to the garbage can. There was garbage on one of the chairs. The walls also had something spilled on them and needed to be wiped down. I especially loved the housekeeper who let herself into my room without knocking the following morning. I get this is meant to be a historical type hotel, but doesn’t mean it has to be dirty.

I visited Regina for two days after 25 years and stayed at Hotel Saskatchewan. I was greeted at the front desk by a young and professional staff member who very pleasant to deal with and made me welcome to the hotel. Everything else about the hotel was wonderful. It's historic significance, dining and parking. I had a wonderful stay and when come back to Regina (hopefully before another 25 years) I shall stay at Hotel Saskatchewan again.

Beautiful hotel. My room, I swear, was on top of a disco which made it very difficult to get some sleep. Wanted a second glass of water in the bar area but waited and waited and finally gave up; service could certainly be better.
