Great place! Beautiful room. The price is a bit high and the pool closing at 7 o'clock seems a bit silly. Overall this is a great place and wortg the price. Rooms are nicely designed and decorated. Rooms are well equiped and the staff was really friendly.

Cold Showers no pressure no hot water

We stayed here for our wedding weekend in Reno, the hotel was clean and beautiful, but we took two cold showers. There was absolutely no hot water, we complained and nothing was done about it. We even put the lever to the hottest max and no hot water came, after running for 5-10 min. a little bit of luke warm water spouted but it was unacceptable. I look forward to having a nice, hot shower when I travel, the pressure was low, and having a cold shower was not ideal for such a special weekend.

I recently stayed at this hotel, and unfortunately, my experience was far from pleasant. The cleanliness of the room was unacceptable—when I checked in, I noticed dust on the furniture, dirty bathroom fixtures, and even hair in the sink and shower. Housekeeping seemed inconsistent, as my room was barely refreshed during my stay, and I had to call multiple times just to get fresh towels. Breakfast service was equally disappointing. The food was cold, stale, and lacked variety. The staff didn’t seem attentive, and tables were often left dirty for long periods. There were times when basic items like coffee or juice ran out, and it took forever to get them replenished. Overall, I expected a much higher standard of service, but this hotel fell short in both cleanliness and hospitality. I wouldn’t recommend staying here unless serious improvements are made.

Amazing staff, spotless hotel!

Beautiful Hotel, wonderful staff, we had a weather delay and they were ao kind and helpful dispite us having gotten in at 1am. Probably one of the cleanest hotels I have ever been in and I travel for a living!

I would like to say I had a very pleasant experience at Hyatt South Reno! The concerns a lot of the reviews mentioned were not experienced during our stay. The only thing that could be better are the pool hours which are 6am-7am currently. Besides that, pool is nice and heated. Jacuzzi available. Nice gym to workout at. In the Room, the Tvs have built in Chromecast so you could rent a movie on YouTube and just stream it to the TV. Staff was very friendly! Will definitely come back!
