It was a nice hotel at a convenient location. Very clean. The breakfast menu was good. The parking was limited hence had to find a spot to park the rental car in the neighborhood when I reached late at night. There's a kronan and a fuel pump very close by so that was convenient too.

No staff was fine, breakfast was excellent and hotel neighborhood was quiet. Bathroom was nicer than mine at home and had HEATED floor and rain shower- that was really nice. Beds were very comfy. No chair or place to put luggage but we made do. 16 parking spaces in the garage meant we got a spot 2/5 nights but parked nextdoor at the Pizza place after 6pm and were sure to leave by 9am. To get into the garage was annoying because you have to come at it from one side of the street so you have to circle the block and then it's a one way so we ended up backing down a hill into traffic a few times when other cars were leaving (just to find out there were no spots anyway). Housekeeping didn't come every other day or every third day and when they came on day 4 they didn't change sheets but they are clear about eco friendly habits so perhaps that's why. Shared fridge on the floor was great and we used the option to grab a kettle and fan from the closets. Would stay there again but it isn't "close" to town: not walkable. There is a 24 hour store, 10am-9pm grocery and a pharmacy nearby which we used. Pizza next door was great but had to call in our order bc we didn't have an Iceland number.

No staff for check in/out but that's the way it is now at certain hotels. Room was very small with no desk or chair but clean and modern. Included breakfast is decent. Location is good close to main roads. Biggest problem is parking, very limited and if car is left in the street you must move it before 8am to avoid towing. Despite all this, I would stay there again if I got a deal as good as the one I got.

The tv reception was terrible. Also was not bery accessible for handicapped persons. Generally nice facility and very clean. Excellent breakfast options. No extra food even though the website said there were options for light meals from 6-930

We stayed here using Reykjavik as a jump off point for day trips (Golden Circle, Snaefellsnes) and the ODDSSON is perfectly located at the edge of the city, leave the hotel, and you are quickly on the highway to get going to the sights. The buffet breakfast was tremendous and gave us a great start for each day of hiking. The contactless check in was very simple. We would stay here again without hesitation.

Great location for us to stop by and rest before we continued our journey. Loved the automated process and complimentary breakfast. The only problematic issue for us was the small parking garage which made it a little stressful.
