Let me start off by saying that when I walked in I was pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness and the adorable decorations including the Santa letters! The reason I say I was surprised is because of the parking situation outside, some of the area blocked off by gates. When I got to my room it was clean and put together, except the shower floor which was not a big deal. The big deal came at the facts that you can hear every door slam , people walking and the alarms go off in the rooms next to you. If you are a light sleeper or someone that has PTSD this is probably not to the place to stay. I called down to the front desk to make sure I could talk to someone as I was checking out earlier due to the fact that I could not sleep well and was informed that that was their locks and there was nothing to be done. I walked away disappointed and although again the place was beautifully taken care of, breakfast was great, staff was great, but I would not say here again because I would be paying to not be able to sleep.

Front desk worker Brain came to my hotel door 10 minutes before 1pm and told me it pass time to check out which was at noon. I told Brain I have silver service and I will be staying until 1pm which is part of Silver Service. Brain replied not today you not staying until 1pm I will charge you an extra day. I told Brain I didn't have the money for an extra day and I was able to stay until 1pm recently. Brain then said he will keep my deposit.I said I can leave I getting my items Brain then replied did I need help I said no. I let Brain know I would be reporting him. On my way out I let Brain know I thought he was a racist. I know if I was a white woman that would not have happened. That the worst customer service experience from hotel I ever received. I will not be going back.

This is an excellent place to stay in the Richmond area when passing through for business, shopping, appointments, etc. It's very well kept, efficient, comfortable and well priced. Location is great too.
