Wonderful staff. The place itself is very well located, but the bunkers are not very solid and are made from light wood (I was on the top one and all night waking up because every time the guest underneath me moved, the whole bed moved too). The communal shower is also very tight. Overall, budget friendly for backpackers who don't mind a certain degree of discomfort

I was only in Rio for two days and I was travelling alone as a woman. The hostel was great - very friendly staff and a cool vibe, walking distance from Ipanema beach and lots of nice restaurants and bars. The hostel's breakfast was fantastic!

Quick and convenient
The acclamations are trendy. Wifi mostly with the building. Staff is very courteous and friendly. Also helpful with directions and event planning.

Everything as expected, given the price. It would be great if there was a coin/card operated laundry facility. Wi Fi only works in the lobby and pool area- this needs to be fixed.

Overall I had a good experience. Staff are friendly and very helpful. One thing I would suggest is a laundry room with coin or card operating washing/drying machines. I would rate the hostel 4-star if they do that.

Awesome Hostel
The staff were awesome and helpful. They made phone calls for reserving activities, were flexible with timing of events and helpful with suggestions. I met amazing people there and am overall happy with the hostel. Great summer experience! The beds could be a bit more comfy, which is the reason why I gave it a 3. Other than that it was great.

Best hostel I could find in Rio
Met some of the most kind and fun people at the hostel. Receptionist, Gabi, was the absolute sweetest and so helpful! She even took a whole group of us to Pedra do Sal on her day off (original samba location), and met us at the hostel so we wouldn't get lost. Didn't actually go into the pool myself, but it was a nice atmosphere to chill by. Also, the hostel allows guests throughout the grounds before 10pm and afterwards in the front patio. They are just super relaxed and helpful in general. Thanks for the great stay!

Super gutes Hostel, Lage top, Personal freundlich, Pool-Zone super geeignet um Leute kennenzulernen, die auch alleine Reisen! Ipanema der mit abstand sicherste Ort in Rio und meiner Meinung der beste Strand.

Localização ótima, limpeza razoável. Peguei o quarto feminino mas acho que se fosse de novo ficaria no compartilhado, é muito tranquilo. O banheiro do quarto feminino é minúsculo, não foi pensado na acessibilidade.

Recomendo o local, detalhe apenas para os chuveiro
Lugar mt bom, principalmente a localização, pessoal tanto os hóspedes quanto os que trabalham no geral são bastante receptivos, pela terceira vez que fiquei lá acho que o único problema que acho que deveria ser resolvido são os banheiros, e chuveiros, tanto limpeza quanto os chuveiros não funcionam muito bem
