TERRIBLE OUTDATED CONDITION

we will make a different choice next time! There was a weird situation where we locked our key in the room, and it created a substantial amount of drama, including the maid, calling security to try to have us removed when all they had to do was go to the lobby, pull our passport and see that it was registered for the room. While all the drama? Perhaps more substantially for you: this property is in terrible condition. TERRIBLE. It is basically undergoing renovation of holes in the walls, broken tile, loose fittings, yellow curtains, yellow, pillowcases, stained water, surfaces, everything. It was due for a remodel about a decade or two ago. The price was substantially higher than other local hotels, we will never do that again! faremos uma escolha diferente na próxima vez! I just stayed here 2 weeks. The property was deceiving from the pictures. Not exactly the quality portrayed. The place could use some updates. The breakfast spread was really good but was crowded if you don’t get there early. I recommend being early and you won’t be disappointed. The cleaning staff was very unfortunate. I know different staff clean different rooms so I can’t speak for all. The cleanliness of the over all hotel was good. The surrounding area was to be expected. I came to Brazil and stayed in the city. There is a lot of poverty. That being said there was so many fantastic little restaurants to eat at. Places you wouldn’t expect. There was an amazing little coffee shop straight down the road on the way to the beach. The tours the hotel provides were great. The staff at the front desk were incredible. They were so helpful, polite and gentleman. I forget the gentleman’s name but he is a jujitsu instructor. He was great and so were all his colleagues. They made my stay at the hotel worth it. Pleasure seeing them each day. I would recommend this place to a friend. Hospitality and politeness go along way and I feel I got that here.

Staff have a minimalist attitude. Espresso was ‘unavailable’ during the breakfast even for payment despite the machine being ten yards away. The rooms looked nothing like the pictures on the page, and were really quite tired. Staff didn’t even let me know when a delivery came for me

We had many troubles in this hotel, but the front desk guys and manager were very helpful and was trying to fix all the issue, they are amazing worker, thanks to them for making our stay better but unfortunotuly hotel condition is not for 4 star hotel.

Our stay at the hotel was a bit underwhelming, especially considering the price we paid. At over $1000 a night during the New Year period, we expected more. The hotel itself is quite dated and could really benefit from a renovation to enhance the guest experience. Unfortunately, the breakfast didn’t meet expectations either. The juices, particularly the orange and pineapple, tasted watered down, which was disappointing. On a positive note, the staff were consistently friendly and accommodating throughout our stay, which was appreciated. However, given the high price point, we expected a higher standard of service and overall quality. If you’re charging such a premium rate, the experience needs to match that level of expectation.
