I was very disturbed and disappointed by the inside of the rooms. The first room had old, old furniture that looked as if it had been retrieved from a dumpster. I was unable to get the heat to work, nor could I get the faucet to adjust the temperature of the water in the shower. There was 1 face towel, and it had dirt stains on it, as did the sheet on the bed.
The customer service representative seemed as if he was unaware of the condition of the room. He gave us the very last room at the back of the motel. However, I will give him kudos because when I brought my concerns to his attention, and stated that I was going to just leave, he made a good effort to address my concern. The room he moved my granddaughter and I to, was a little bit better; It was at the front of the hotel. He noted that I had some difficulty walking, and gave us a first floor room. At that point we were tired and just decided to make due.
I’m unsure if this location is going through renovations, but it needs to be, and the interior of the rooms need to be upgraded. Especially the bathrooms.
I paid under 80.00 and I was willing to let it go down the drain. There are no refunds. I do wish the owners would view their property and make the necessary repairs and maintenance needed to improve their location.
Finally, again the reservation clerk did show empathy and he also was professional. The outside of the motel looks modern and had no riff raft going on.
