Hampton Inn needs to do much better. disappointed
When we checked into our room it smelled strongly of cigarette smoke. After complaining to the front desk we were given a second room which only had queen beds. The keys did not work to enter the room after several trips to the front desk for new keys we were given a third room which smelled better but the pillows smelled heavily of cigarette smoke. The bed was very uncomfortable as well. I am extremely disappointed in Hampton inn. I expected better. After one night we checked out.

The fire system was out of order for our visit We left in the morning They did not notify us or guests The fire doors remained closed entire visit, and the fire system panel that was worked on the day we arrived was still open when we left. Not safe so we left - sorry not sorry

Location was good. The bathroom wasn’t clean. Mould around bathtub, toilet seat was cracked, floor wasn’t clean, and no exhaust fan. Air conditioning unit controls were not working. Room wasn’t refreshed for second day, no clean towels or face cloths, garbage cans weren’t emptied. Fridge cupboard door wasn’t able to close. Light burnt out beside the bed. One of the beds squeaked. Never stayed at a Hotel for more than two days where the room wasn’t refreshed for the second day. Had to wait an hour for the clean towels after calling down to the front twice to ask them. When they delivered the towels, they had a long hair strand on the towels when I was handed them and pointed it out to the person and he didn’t no what to say or do. No coffee second night and the following morning breakfast. Unbelievable. I’ve stayed at this location several times before with family and I’m a die hard customer of Hampton Inn’s. This was a real disappointment. Not up to Hampton Inn’s standards. I will definitely be contacting head office.

Rude.
When we reached the hotel there was no power, and the rude lady on the reception failed to accommodate us. I understand computers were down but we had multiple kids including one year old. After check-in, found one of the rooms was not clean. Substitute room was given but at that point already lost half of our day. Request to Hilton: please use separate dishes for vegetarian and non-vegetarian items. Should be common sense. Not happy!
