This large holiday home with over 390 square metres is located in the small Eifel village of Rodershausen, within sight of the Luxembourg border and in the middle of the German-Luxembourg nature park.

The holiday home offers 15 bedrooms, 5 bathrooms and 1 large kitchen, living and dining room, another living area and a living room. A large terrace in front of the house and a small meadow next to the house are also available. The house is suitable for 30 guests.

Sole use - you as a guest use the entire holiday home alone, of course!

On the ground floor is the former taproom, which has been converted into a large living/dining room with kitchen. Right next to it is the former small hall, which is now another dining room. A bedroom, a bathroom with shower and WC, a guest WC and a large cloakroom are also on the ground floor.

On the upper floor of the guest house there are 9 bedrooms and two bathrooms with shower and WC. The bedrooms are multi-bed rooms, with double beds, bunk beds, single beds and children's beds. The rooms have been furnished with great attention to detail and all have their own style. Famous visitors were also taken into account in the design of the rooms - a Karl Marx room, a Victor Hugo room and a Jules Verne room bring the long history of the house to life.

In the attic there is a large living room, a playroom for small children as well as 4 further bedrooms and a bathroom.

In the shed in the side wing there are 4 beds in one bedroom - side by side like in a mattress camp. There is also a living room with a wood stove, a small kitchen, a dining room and a bathroom with shower and toilet.

In the large courtyard you will find a large terrace with plenty of seating and a large charcoal grill for nice barbecue evenings.

As the holiday home is located in the middle of the village, in a quiet, family-friendly and sensitive neighbourhood, the noise level in the evening should be adapted to the time of day and from 11 pm there should be absolute silence outside. Of course, you can then continue to party inside the house (with the windows closed!).

Unaccompanied youth groups and young adults (up to 25 years) should not book this holiday home, as it is a holiday home and not a youth hostel. Also out of consideration for the neighbourhood, stag parties and booze parties are not welcome.


The large courtyard has a gate and can therefore be completely closed off. This prevents the children from running into the street. Because of the fenced yard, this holiday home is also ideal for all dog owners! Enjoy your holiday without worries. Your dog can run around safely in the courtyard while you relax.

Of course, there is plenty of parking space in front of and at the holiday home.

Renovated and extended in 2017 & 2019, the cottage was a coach house and inn with guest rooms for over 150 years and has now been adapted to meet the modern requirements of a holiday home. In its long history, such famous people as Karl Marx, Victor Hugo and Jules Verne are said to have visited the inn.

The historic farmstead has been used for many purposes in its long history, e.g. as an estate with livestock, as a stagecoach station, as an inn, as a guesthouse, as a grocer's shop or now as a holiday home, and has now been adapted to the modern requirements of a group home.

Rodershausen is a typical Eifel village with about 160 inhabitants, situated 500 m above sea level above the river Our, surrounded by woods and meadows. Outdoor swimming pools within a radius of approx. 10 km are located in Neuerburg, Körperich and Vianden. Only 15 km away is the AquaNat'Our Piscine Parc Hosingen with indoor adventure pool, sauna world & fitness.

This holiday home is an ideal accommodation for a holiday with a large family or a group. The surroundings in the Southern Eifel Nature Park are beautiful. From the house you walk directly into the forest or into the Our valley. On the descent into the Our valley, you will be rewarded with magnificent views, such as the old Falkenstein castle ruins, the Our loop, the Our reservoir, the pumped storage plant and as the highlight of the tour - Vianden Castle. Real hiking experiences are guaranteed here! But mountain bikers also get their money's worth in the wooded hills and the Felsenland Südeifel.

The tourist highlight of Luxembourg - Vianden, famous for its castle and picturesque location - should definitely be visited.

The copper mine of Stolzembourg, which is over 500 years old, is also nearby. Guided tours are offered and a small museum can be visited.
