If I come back to Rome I will be staying here. PERFECT location. National guard stationed outside for safety. The best staff. Great room with a balcony. We loved the entire stay.

We loved the Hotel Romano. We had a beautiful view from our windows and the bed was very comfortable. Santo checked us in and he was so gracious and helpful . He showed us all the points of interest on a walking map & told us how long it would be take to get there. He also ordered a car to the airport for us. There was a cafe right in front of the hotel that was open all day and many dining options all around. The colosseum was a 3 minute walk. When we come back to Rome we will definitely stay here again.

Santos was so nice! We loved the quaintness of the hotel. It was clean. The welcome champagne was much appreciated. Excellent location. We will certainly be back when we have more than just one night to visit!

Great location and very polite staff. It's right down the street from the Colosseum and many restaurants located around the hotel. The only odd thing is that they don't allow you to leave with your room key. A policy that must stem from past guest losing them but other then that the stay was great.

Excellent value. Room was nice and the pictures online reflected what we got. Perfect location for a first time visit in Rome. The hotel has an odd demand of turning in your key to the reception every time you leave the premises.

I loved the proximity to the ruins and Colosseum. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was my room was very small, as in closet sized. It felt a bit like a train room, other than that, everything was great!

We stayed in Hotel Romano for our family’s first trip to Rome. It meets our expectations in terms of location, clearness, family suite and friendly staff. We were welcomed by Eddy who was super nice and knowledgeable. He shared many useful tips about dining options and transportation. On the departure day, the hotel staff helped us to book a taxi for going to Roma Termini, which was very convenient. Definitely will come back again.

This property was cute and quaint. My room had an amazing view of the ancient ruins and palatine hill. The shower was a bit small and the floor would get soaked. The staff were very nice. The hotel was simple and clean. Not a lot of frills.
