Check-in was slow and painful, even though I had received a link and provided all my info on-line. We arrived at about 12:30 and were told that even if the room was ready, there would be a $20 early check-in fee. Since we didn't have pets along I requested a non-pet-friendly room. We came back about three It took 10 minutes to check-in and we were in a room that smelled strongly of pet urine. Just not a good experience, overall.

Amenities were good. Had an exercise room. Swimming pool. The UFO Museum was nearby. White Sands and Carlsbad Caverns National Parks were each 2 hrs away.

Lobby and rooms were updated and nice. Room appeared very clean. Would have been really happy with stay but the roaches in the tub, bathroom floor and under sink was unacceptable. Desk staff was not concerned at all about it when we let them know.

Happy that this motel was very clean. They had just cleaned the carpets in our room and forgot to let the person checking us in know. There were fans going in our room when we got in it. The carpet was dry and it smelled very fresh. We loved it! We sleep with a couple of fans at home and we slept great here.

Quick nights rest
The room was very clean. We were stopping through on our travel and needed good sleep. Bed was very comfortable and bathroom was very clean. The check in person didn’t seem too enthused but she gave us our information needed and went on our way. The parking lot needs more spaces and the “park at your own risk” signs were bothersome but it was fine.
