Sehr zentral gelegen aber trotzdem ruhig. Kleines Manko, dass ich an einem Freitag (obwohl allein unterwegs) ohne Reservierung keinen Platz im Restaurant ergattern konnte (bzw. Tisch wäre erst 1 Stunde später verfügbar) - es gibt aber in der Altstadt viele anderen Restaurants. Frühstück war sowas von toll: kein normales Frühstücksbuffet, sondern pro Gast/Zimmer/Gruppe frisch servierten Optionen mit reichlichen Brotkörben, Käse/Schinkenplatten sowie Ei und Kaffee/Saft nach Wunsch. Buffet gab es “lediglich” für die riesigen Obstplatte (sowie Yogurt, und ich glaube auch Cornflakes oder sowas gesehen zu haben)

This quaint hotel is only a few doors down from the square where the market is. It is so convenient to access the square, the shops and all the restaurants. The hotel is very old and has a lot of character! We got our laundry done here and they had it back the same day! The restaurant is great, the goulash is delicious. The breakfast is well presented and there is lots to eat. The staff were very friendly. I would stay here again.

A great place to stay in a medival town.. incredible location, onsite parking (a heads up rent a small car) great restaurant and perfect breakfast...the employees all were great accomidating to our broken deutsche.. no a/c just a heads up in summer months but all in all a outstanding stay.. Amazing. In good meaning, the price doesn't match the service. Location is just next to central, the building is historical and nostalgic. The price is under 100 usd per night even though breakfast is included.

first, what we did not like was there is no elevator and we stayed on the 3rd floor. the second set of stairs curves and was narrow. it was had to drag our luggages to out room and they have no staff to help with the luggages. the location was good as it was at the old town and close to all sights to see.

I felt like I was living in another time. The hotel was absolutely beautiful! Old world charm with modern day conveniences. The staff were exceptional! So warm and inviting. Plus the hotel’s location could not be beat. I would definitely stay here again.

Our first and last stay
First of all, we would like to thank the owner for a complimentary ride to the hotel. This gave us a good impression of her and we were excited to meet her. However, she was rather unhelpful and hostile towards us. We asked if she could kindly arrange a taxi for us in advance on our departure day but she refused, replying with a straight “No”. Meanwhile, her staff eagerly told us that he would be happy to call a taxi for us. The room we were staying in was chilly, despite the 3 old and small heaters in the room. When we gave her our feedback via email, requesting for a change of room with preferably more heaters, she responded by saying that there we no available rooms, so she gave us blankets. Regardless, we appreciate having the extra blankets. The next day, we told her that the blankets were of no use and did little to help us stay warm. She told us that we weren’t able to withstand the cold because we were Asian, which leads me to believe that not only was she an unfriendly host, she was also racist. Unfortunately, we had 3 miserable chilly nights and wore 3 layers of merino wool to sleep. In the end, she told us she had an available room that we might be interested in but we declined as the room was equally as cold as ours. Without an upgrade to the old heaters or the inclusion of more heaters in their rooms, they would not be able to provide better service to guests. What a waste, don't let the reviews fool you.

This hotel is right in the centre of town. An easy walk to the train station. Located above a traditional restaurant, it feels like it probably was hundreds of years ago. There isn’t any elevator so this is not the place for you if you can’t do stairs. The staff were very accommodating. I wish I had stayed an additional night.
