We called several times before arriving to ask for an early check in between 10:00-1:00pm. No one ever answered the phone and mailbox was full so we were not able to leave a message. When we arrived at 1:15 there wasn’t anyone at the front desk. We stood around for several minutes. Finally some of the house keeping staff who were sitting in the breakfast area acknowledged us and radioed to other staff. A woman finally greeted us. I asked if an early check in and the staff person just said no rooms would be available until 3:00. She didn’t ask any of my personal information or check their system. Not being allowed to check in caused us to be late to the event we were attending in the area. The entire hotel smelled like marijuana and we were woken up several times throughout the night by sirens.

Honestly, I really loved my stay at Holiday Inn Express. Everybody from the staff in the hotel was very friendly and accommodating, the room was nice and clean, the furniture well maintained and almost brand new. And I preferred very close and convenient location to Sutter Roseville Medical Center. 10/10!
