We stood here one night, and I’m almost certain that this is the best hotel I’ve ever stayed at in my entire life. The staff is easily the nicest staff ever, super attentive, and just waiting on a whim to help you. The rooms are beautiful, and the location is ideal. 10 out of 10. I’m almost certain this is the best hotel I’ve ever been to, and that’s such a big statement to make, but here we are.

This has been probably the best hotel I’ve ever stayed. The hotel, amenities, room and location couldn’t be better but, more importantly, I want to recognize the entire staff that made our stay an unforgettable one. Room and every single detail around the hotel are top class and in great condition. Attention to any of our needs was superb. Hotel Rector is a true 5-star hotel.

We wish we could have stayed longer. The hotel was just perfect. The service was outstanding. The hotel is small and very pretty. Our room was very large and comfortable. The bed and pillows were perfect, I slept very well. The room was clean and literally every detail was thought of. Our only regret was leaving

What stood out with Hotel Rector was the service. Literally every single employee was singularly focused on making sure our stay was memorable, and it was. We spent 3 weeks in spain and portugal and this hotel was by far the best one of the stay. Highly recommended.

We stayed at this beautiful hotel in September 2023. The staff were very helpful and professional, the room was great, and the location was perfect. It is just outside of the walls of old Salamanca and all of the important sites of the old city are easily walkable. The staff recommended excellent restaurants and got us convenient reservations.

5-star in every way. Beautiful boutique hotel, very comfortable room and bed, easy walking to everything, and the best hotel service we've ever experienced -- kudos and thanks to the staff that pampered us like no other. The service started before we arrived, with texts asking our preferences for soap and shampoo. On arrival, we were warmly welcomed by a charming gentleman who met us at the sidewalk as we pulled up, then took our car to the garage. We later learned he was the owner. At the check in desk, they knew who we were. The only question they asked was whether they could help us with dinner recommendations or reservations. From personal attention to treats in our room to a goody bag for the drive on, they didn't miss an opportunity to make our stay extraordinary.
