There is nothing bad about this hotel. It is centrally located, very walkable, felt safe, friendly employees, clean, and several elevators. The rooms are very spacious and plenty of natural and artificial light. That said, it is very expensive. You pay for everything. Well, sometimes they put some water at a table in the lobby. Lemon water was good. The parking is actually in the convention center, so there’s some walking and navigating to the hotel.

Nice Hotel
Very nice hotel. Convenient to everything downtown. May only disappointment was their vallet parking was full. I know that seems petty, but we were tired and there was a convention going on so it was difficult to find parking and then have to drag our luggage along with us. Other than that, it was a nice stay.

I recently stayed one night at the Hyatt Regency Salt Lake City. While the facility was good, the service left much to be desired. During check-in, the staff did not provide us with water or sandals, but my husband noticed them giving these items to other guests. The next morning, the service at the restaurant was also lacking, and the same issue occurred during checkout when the doorman did not assist us with our luggage, even though he helped other residents. This led us to wonder if there might be some discrimination against Asians among the staff. We expected better service from a Hyatt Regency.
