Great venue, lovely staff, very clean. Great location. Slight downside is the rooms are a little tired, and there is always lots of towels on limited sunbeds. somewhere we'd go again though.

Received a message from the hotel offering an airport transfer. I emailed accepting, but asked if I could put it on the room. They emailed back to send flight details - then confirmed that someone would be onsite with a sign at the airport. Nobody showed up so took a taxi instead - paid with my card. On arrival to hotel I was told I needed to pay the original driver who ended up showing up late to the airport. Not only that, but I needed to go get cash and pay the driver directly. FOR A DRIVER THAT NEVER SHOWED UP. The check-in lady started to yell at me that it's wrong that I took the taxi instead of waiting. I told her that I was not told OR emailed: I was to pay in cash/I was to wait/I was not able to put it on the room. So I was under no commitment to pay MORE money to a taxi driver who was late CASH that I did not have, for a ride that I did not take. The lady took my phone to look at my emails as proof, then wouldn't give my phone back until I yelled back at her to give me my phone. I don't know WHY she was so hell bent on us paying this taxi driver who didn't even work for the hotel - it was a completely separate company. This put a damper on the entire stay. The breakfast staff yelled at us when we walked in early just for a hot cup of water to make tea from tea bags I brought myself. Amongst loads of other small cleanliness issues, the pool was fantastic.

Overall it was good stay

Had a nice stay at hotel,the food is only ok,i had diner one of the evenings ans its was terrible,breakfast was ok,but confusing that there was no labels on any food. Confusion to have to ask staff what was food,like is it chicken or fish. Across frim Yumbo an 15 min walk to beach either side.

Good hotel overall- “balcony” dissappointing

Nice hotel overall - great pool and bar Huge selection at breakfast My only complaint was that the balcony /terrace was awful- ground floor- facing a tennis court and got zero sun during the day. I asked to be moved but they said there were no other rooms in the category I had booked

The room is terrible and needs full renovation. Also, and most importantly, the food is terrible, bad, I did not eat anything tasty. For sure I will never return, nor I will recommend it

Solo Stay At Servatur Don Miguel

The Don Miguel hotel is HUGE! It's a large, sprawling hotel that needs a bit of renovation, but is in a great location, with the entrance being on the corner of a main road. It is very close to the Yumbo Centre and all the fun that entails, as well as being opposite a small if expensive supermarket. The staff here are amazing! Everyone greeted you with a smile and that made a huge difference to me. The receptionist even called my transfer company for me and made sure that my airport pick-up was confirmed. The housekeeping staff are also lovely. The rooms are a bit tired, but I got a great night sleep in the bed I had. There was plenty of storage, but I didn't have a great deal of stuff. The balcony was nice to sit on in the morning or late afternoon to people watch. In the room is a little fridge, where you can store small bottles of drink etc. There was plenty of hot water in the bathroom and the water pressure was decent. Breakfast was also delicious and plentiful, served in a buffet style in a large dining room with two outside terraces. I would definitely stay there again.

The hotel room was spacious and clean. The staff were always accommodating and friendly, often greeting us as we entered and left. The pool and gym facilities were great. We booked a breakfast included package and the meals were always nice. It's located very close to the busiest area of Maspalomas so not suitable if you want a quiet holiday but for us it was perfect.

Amazing place

We can not fault this hotel, staff very friendly, very clean hotel and food is lovely such a variety. The hotel is situated in the middle of every thing just 5 minutes walk to yumbo centre where there is a brilliant vibe every night and 10 min walk to the best sandy beach will deffo be coming back

So this looks nice on the website, but don’t be fooled, so the hotel reception is lovely and clean and the staff are friendly, but my room had a Balcony and a view of the Main Road out of town, The food is rubbish if I had known I wouldn’t of payed Togo half board, The Hotel Room and the hotel could do with a bit of money spent on it, I had cracked tiles in my bathroom, the room looked very tired and needed a over haul. The road outside was quite noisy so I didn’t get a very good sleep at night as the patio doors was not double glazed.

Had a great time at Servatur Don Miguel! The apartment was very clean and tidied daily, staff always said hello to you when you walked by, the breakfast buffet options were lovely, and we always found a space by the pool. Hotel itself is in a great location for daily beach trips with buzzing nightlife steps away. Great place to stay!
