Good for business, not for leisure.
Booker beware- the “Coronado view” doesn’t actually face Coronado (I.e. the water) and instead overlooks a construction zone, to which they’re gonna work on upselling you a view upgrade. They should be more transparent on what the view is- as one would assume a view facing an island doesn’t face the actual opposite direction. Resort fee is INSANE given the small pool and hot tub are consistently packed (with kids). Despite being near the convention center, there’s not much else nearby. Gas lamp is a 5-10 min walk.

The hotel was very nice and the staff was all super helpful, except for the guy who checked us in initially, he didn’t tell us about any of the amenities and some stuff we didn’t figure out till the last day. Our room and view were gorgeous but the phones and window shades didn’t work and the fridge couldn’t get much below room temp. These are relatively small issues and didn’t impact our stay too much. Overall we really enjoyed the stay and would stay with Hilton again. If you stay here, keep in mind it is next to an active shipyard and can be a little noisy in the mornings.

The hotel itself is nice. The staff were good. I paid for a 24 hour parking which was $45.00, parked at 8pm and was told i had to take my car out by 2pm. My room had a dirty body towel hung up on the shower rod from a previous stay. Sink was dirty. The bed made so much noise everytime we moved felt like it was broken. This was room #1416.
