We’ve stayed at Porta Vista in previous years, but unfortunately, we've noticed a steady decline in the hotel's maintenance and staff service. It's clear that upkeep is lacking, as you can see signs of wear throughout the hotel. The most frustrating part, however, is the customer service. The staff seems unhelpful, often giving excuses and pushing you off to speak with a manager instead of addressing any concerns themselves. It’s as if they don't want to make an effort to resolve issues, and the manager becomes their go-to excuse. Despite the convenient location in Little Italy with its vibrant shops, great dining options, and the lovely Saturday farmer's market, it’s just not enough to justify the price and poor experience we had this time. There are many other choices in the area, and we’ll definitely be looking into alternative accommodations for our next visit.

Valet parking only, Valet person refused to park the car in the premises, don't know where they took my car, I hope I didn't pay $45 to have my car parked at the street, the room had no bottled water. Location was good.

Lobby and website were a bit misleading. The rooms showed considerable age, the beds were pretty springy, and the pool on the fifth floor could barely be considered a pool. The elevator was also confusing as the buttons don’t light up. Staff was friendly, but it’s clear they put a ton into the lobby to make it appear upscale.

I only gave two stars because of the room. It was outdated; the curtains, the decor, the wall color, the door frames had been repaired several times, patched holes in the wall near the bathroom etc. The bed was very firm, the hand towel holder had not been dusted in ages, the refrigerator was dusty on top, one of the lamps didn't work and the toilet plugged the first night we got there. We didn't want to spend a lot of money on the hotel room as we wanted the downtown experience and nightlife more so you get what you pay for. Parking is $45 per day! The valet staff was very courteous, professional and quick to retrieve our vehicle so I give them five stars. When we requested room service, they arrived quickly.
