There are a lot of things to improve. Most especially the front desk during the night. It’s not helpful at all and very busy on her phone and the room needs to have a good maintenance. Like the exhaust fan in the comport room and the filter of the portable aircon need a good cleaning to have a good flow. The only thing that I like is housekeeping. Very much appreciated on how clean the rooms.

I was a little concerned about saftey after reading some San Fran areas are rough. The immediate security presence is reassuring the hotel takes security seriously. The receptionist was very friendly. Beds were really comfy. Room was updated. Staff even let us cook our daughters diet special food in their microwave. Loved the breakfast offering really helps a famiky traveling to offer that.

Place is very old, with no fridge or microwave in the room. Our window was 1/2” open, wasn’t able to close it. Additional charge for “amenities”. Breakfast cannot be called breakfast because there is absolutely nothing to eat. Pool in different building. Parking available, but even though you pay for it, it’s not guaranteed. Overall, first and last time.

Fiona is a very clean hotel and smells so good. Yoki, Jessica and their staff are very friendly and welcoming. The rooms are great with comfortable beds. Their breakfast is good enough to get you on your day. It’s walking distance to Union Square, one of the main attractions of San Francisco, where one can take the cable cars down to Lombard Street. I would highly recommend staying at Fiona.

The location wasn’t an issue with me. I didn’t know how families with children would think. I walked around at night to bars, restaurant’s and felt safe. Plus parking that’s reasonable for SF. i’d certainly stay again
