Perfect room. With a kitchen, dining table, sofa, and bed. Very spacious for 2 people. Was a 15 minute walk to a beautiful park (Leo J Ryan Park) by a lake. Safeway grocery store right across the street from the park inside a shopping plaza with other places to fit shopping needs. Clean hotel, felt more like a condo, no interior hallways, all rooms accessed from outside and only 2 stories, easy to park by your room and take luggage in and out. Good breakfast, with all standard options. Hills Dale mall about a 10 minute drive from hotel, with restaurants, bowling alley, etc… Definitely recommend.

There was an incident on the morning of our checkout day during which someone had a key to our room and aggressively tried to get in while we were having breakfast inside. This was 9am, before cleaning was scheduled to come. Luckily, the door stop prevented them from gaining access. They didn't bother to knock or say anything before leaving. When I asked the front desk about it during our checkout 20 minutes later, they gave vague answers about a mixup with the cleaning staff or another guest. It's on the staff to ensure guests feel safe in their rooms, especially as there's no gate to the premises and all the rooms face directly outside. The staff here, whether it's the cleaning or front reception, needs to be aware.

A hotel is a reflection of the management running it, how this person lives and treats people at home. Hotel needs an outdoor facelift, but the hotel runs well with a great staff.

This is usually one of our favorite places to stay. This time after checking in our card key would not open our door, after walking all the way back to office we were given another but still had trouble opening it the whole stay. The breakfast is usually great but when we came with still 1/2 an hour before it ended there was pretty much nothing left ! They slowly would refill a couple things but a lot of other guests were still arriving behind us. Poor planning on the staff especially on a weekend. Also I was upset that they didn't let us know they are now charging a $10 parking fee, they just billed me for it.
