The staff very friendly, informative and accommodating. The area was pretty quiet considering it's proximity to SFO (6 minutes,) and there are quite a few dining options nearby. I didn't do any shopping, but The Dylan at SFO is close to a couple of shopping centers and plazas. There are also many attractions like museums, parks, gardens, the zoo, the beach, and lots of yummy food! Check in starts at 2PM, but I checked in at nearly 12AM because I was attending an event at Golden Gate Park (a little more than half-hour from SFO) that started at 1:30PM. Check-in ends at 2AM the following day, but make sure to inform the staff that you will be checking in later. It was a very pleasant experience, especially considering that it was my first solo trip coming from Miami, FL. I felt at ease here ❤️

Very safe for our family, very helpful staff, BART a block away to get into the city, yet couldn't hear any traffic in room, loved small extras like record player, balcony, fun vibe. Free parking too. Would stay here again in a heartbeat!

The Dylan is a renovated motel, billed as a hotel. The rooms and decor look charming and acceptable upon arrival but the renovation was bare minimum. The shower pressure is extremely low, the faucets are difficult to operate, the fan/aircon was so noisy we could barely sleep. Would definitely not return.
