TV had to be repaired. Room phone did not work for rooms service orders. Maid came knocking at 8:30am to see if had checked out. She should be in touch with her management team, and not disturb us.

We were upgraded to a suite which was very nice for the money. The desk staff was helpful as we tried to get transportation to the airport. The bellman allowed us to use the shuttle since it was not fully occupied.

We had a problem with the pre arranged transport from the airport due to flight delays and heavy rain, but the quick and professional response from the staff quickly resolved the situation. The hotel is well placed with good rooms serviced by courteous and professional staff.

Everyone in the hotel was extraordinarily kind and helpful. I got sick and hotel staff made a bad situation totally fine. I’m grateful to everyone at the welcome desk, the concierge and the wait staff. The slogan for Costa Rica is La pura vida. Staff couldn’t have been kinder!

Hotel didn’t respnse and sent no shuttle to pick is up despite a few emails several days prior to arriving. On the day, bo one picked up the phoen either. We had to take tsxi over sfter waiting for more than minutes. The room had 1 one of klenex tissue! The bath tube was clogged. Room was dusty, olde dated.

It was okay... The shower leaked badly onto the bathroom floor, I had to pay extra any time someone visited me at the hotel, no one stayed the night with me, but I got charged for visitations, which was absolutely ridiculous. I will never go back to this property.

I have always stayed here and it has been geat but recently they are different. Must be under new management. I asked them to print a document and they charged me $40.00. Crazy. I asked why and the woman only said that her manager said to charge me that much. I explained that I had always stayed there but I would never again because of this and she simply said, "ok". Typical of the Costa Rican culture to take what they can in the moment but I expected more from Barcelo. Adios!

The elevator was broken and staff said that it works but it don’t so I had to climb the stairs and my key didn’t work so I had to make several trips up and down the stairs . When pull g up front to check in the man in front would not allow me to unload my luggage and was rudely told to do that out back , I don’t know why you can’t check in from the front but even the desk people were rude, I would not recommend this hotel to anyone ever and Expedia should remove them from their site .

Great location to airport and the staff at this hotel are fantastic!!! The Staff at the front desk Analucia, Kenia and Stacy were incredibly kind, patient and helpful. They helped me during a time of great personal stress (Hurricane Milton). I was forced to stay at the hotel because my flight was canceled in the US. During my stay the really supported me while the hurricane devastated my home state of Florida. 5 stars for the hotel staff!!!!!
