Lovely property but could stand to be updated. I had a partial ocean view room, which was ok except the view was not good. I had an unobstructed view of the side of an old rusty, worn down apartment building. Total eyesore. Not happy about this!

Marriott Isla Verde beach resort was amazing!! The staff was very helpful and accommodating. They have restaurants in the facility, they have a gym, a beautiful pool. They also have espresso and non-dairy milk. I loved loved how close we were to the beach. It was a beautiful experience at Courtyard and I’m definitely coming back to catch some rays and enjoy this resort again.

This is the second time I’ve stayed here. I love the convenience of the pool and beach being right downstairs. However, the prices have gone very high on food and drinks that aren’t worth it. The all you can eat buffet is very mediocre, the waffles and pancakes were hard as if they’ve been reheated. The breakfast does not have much options, therefore the price shouldn’t be $27.99 pp. In addition, the food isn’t all that good from the menu by the pool or dining area, the chicken tasted as if it were canned or reheated, very overpriced for the quality. The alcohol drinks were also pretty overpriced and watered down. I love this resort but the quality of food and drinks have to match the ambiance.

I stayed here at the beginning of September 2024. The room needed to be cleaned more thoroughly, but I always bring my own Lysol spray and wipes. Staff were really nice. Only downside was the renovations in the lobby but we only noticed when walking to the pool. Watch out for the birds outside because they will steal your food. But my overall stay was not bad at all. I would stay here again.

The property was ok. The carpet on the 11th floor has stains and there are ripples in the carpet. The chair in our room had stains room.The restaurants were very good, food was hot and very tasty. We found that the pool was not skinned a lot during the day. It was clean once we got in it, There was hair floating, leaves, mulch. I know this happens, however someone should have skinned the pool on a regular basic's. There were many cigarette butts in the sand right off the grass area. waitress by the outside bar and dining was incredible. She was polite and took the time to talk to us. All the employees by the morning buffet incredible. The hotel is doing some upgrades to the lobby area and that will help. We didn't see many people winning at the casino. Everyone we spoke to said they lost as well. Front desk were very helpful. Guys at the bar were very good, talkative and made great drinks. There was one lady who was not very pleasant the first day we got there, sorry I don't remember the name. My wife and I are Marriott members and if we returned to Puerto Rico we would look at other properties to see what they offer. If the other hotels didn't offer certain things like swim up bar, well rated restaurants. We would return to Marriott courtyard.

Nice hotel that’s under renovation. Close to airport and tucked away from the main hotel strip of Isla Verde. The main restaurant Serena is excellent. Only down side is that it’s under renovation so it’s a little noisy in the lobby and not very attractive when you walk into the lobby. Other than that a solid hotel with great value.

I have bite marks around my ankles and up my calfs. something in the grass outside the bar patio started biting me and another lady staying there. we were talking during dinner. We have talked and still have bites a week later. red and itchy. lots of them -even though we moved out of the grass immediately.
