To begin with, it is important that anyone renting this unit understands what is in the disclosures and that there is no elevator, and it is 63 steps to the unit from the street. It makes checking in with luggage a challenge.
Also, if you’re coming from the commercial section, there’s about a 300-yard steep uphill climb to Sol St.
It was difficult to unload as there is hardly any parking places available on the street, even during the day.
Parking overnight in the nearest garage as an additional cost of $27 per day.
Only the bedrooms are air-conditioned.
On the good news side, the view from the living room opening is spectacular. Both forts are within walking distance as is The Museo de Las Americas, which I highly recommend. The nearby restaurants are all very good.
