Amazing and romantic place. The room was spacious, the air was nice, and the inside looked very organized. The breakfast was good and you need the key to travel to your room so it feels safe.

Bed was comfortable, location was great, and so was the breakfast. One issue was that there were a bunch of paint patches on the bathroom which made the room look very dated. Otherwise, this was a fine hotel and a fine stay.

Always nice coming back to this La Quinta !

I’ve been in this hotel before. It’s well run. Friendly staff, service oriented, good parking, close to cal poly, very nice breakfast, and comfortable rooms. Maybe need more hooks in bathroom for clothes hanging. Also had EV charging station in the parking which is nice if you drive electric.

Property was surprisingly nice. Only issue we had was with the occupants around us. We checked in late, 10:30 pm, and wanted to go to sleep right away, but the people in the room above us were stomping around and the people in the next room were talking loudly all night. The walls must be paper thin. Only other thing to note is that this is a pet friendly hotel.

We enjoyed the modern look of the hotel and the amenities including snacks for sale in the lobby. The breakfasts were not fancy but adequate. What was missing was some sort of brochure in the room that explained any rules, recommendations for nearby restaurants, directions to churches, etc. We find these guides very useful at other hotels.

Misleading Parking Fees

Well, here's my reason for providing the rating that i did. On the Hotels.com web site ad, this hotel provided a price along with the stmt, "All taxes and fees included in the total." In addition, the 'What guests liked about the parking' stated, "Parking was convenient, easy to access, and often included or waived with room prepayment." I beg to differ... as I was charged an additional $15.00 per day for parking! I didnt find out about about this charge until checking out. I questioned the desk attendent and she stated, "It (the fee) was on the form you had to fill out regarding your car." This is why they not only disregard ever mentioning it upon check-in, but also highlight specific areas that they want you to fill out - none of which had a specific fee highlighted! The highlights are to make the customer focus only of those areas they want you. It's not that i cant afford an extra $15/day, but its the "shadiness" of it and the fact that the Hotels.com web site led me to believe one thing, then in the end it wasnt representative of the 'final' bill.
