The staff came off as rude and brief. It looked like they hate their jobs… I am referring to the staff inside the hotel that help you check in or tend bar, not the maintenance crew. besides the rude staff the property has pretty views.

The only problem I really have with Sandcastle right now in the rooms are the receptacles, which will not hold your plug, which anything close to your bed all of are just wore out

We decided to take an early Valentine’s trip from Central California to hit Pismo area. We went to the Madonna Inn for dinner and then we stayed here at the Sandcastle, which was lovely but I was surprised that they charge $25 for parking so be prepared for that. Apparently it stated someplace in the paperwork when I made my reservations, but I didn’t see it.

The Sandcastle was such a nice hotel. The bed was comfortable, the shower is good sized with a great showerhead. Great location to our friends staying at PCV. Great location. We’re looking forward to returning.

Great location

The hotel overall was good. The location is nice, I had a partial ocean view, which was a plus. Their deck is small, but cozy. I will say tho, the property at night is loud. If you get a room within the 101-106 side, expect to get woken up at night! This wing is near an exit and people were in and out all night, being loud. Then in AM the cleaning employees are up early being loud! It really takes away that relaxing feeling.
