We love the wayfarer, have stayed many times! Service is always friendly and efficient! This trip was one night booked well in advance and we got what seemed like most disturbing room in the hotel, right next to entrance and front Desk as well as thins walls, but continuous noise. It did get little humid, thinking sheets were not the best but overall mattress was comfortable! Appreciate the kind gesture at end of our stay~ Hilton Honors Member and Local!!

We truly enjoyed our stay at the Wayfarer. Josh was a great with check-in and throughout our stay with much hospitality. The housecleaning crew seemed happy and they were polite and accommodating. Room was clean, bed was comfortable, (king bed). We will return.

Enjoyed our stay. Room was a bit tight for four but was fine for just two nights. Liked our walks in to town. Front desk was not overly welcoming as other properties but they were efficient.

No service received for confirmed hotels.com itin.
We had a confirmed reservation with hotels.com but the hotel staff said we were "Not in the system." Hotel staff had not rooms or acknowledgment of the third party reservation. Hotels.com staff tried to contact Wayfarer to discuss, but hotel staff didn't answer the phone and hotels.com let our call drop. No one called us back or followed up on the chat stream we had started originally. we requested a call back but got no assistance.

Hilton Wayfarer Tapestry Hotel SLO
Very cool vibe at this hotel especially if you are young or have young kids with you. The hotel has two spaces for gathering. The inside space that serves food and drinks and has multiple screens for sports and games galore. Then there is a serene outdoor space with fire pits and comfy chairs and couches and giant sized scrabble board in the wall and a massive light brite game along with other games to play. You really don’t see that much given our obsession with electronics as a society so if you are looking for a nice hotel in San Luis Obispo, CA that’s fun and hip Check it out
